We'll break down what canvassing is, why it matters, and the different ways canvassers connect with voters and community members—including door-to-door outreach, voter education, registration, phone outreach, and community events.
Canvassing Do's & Don'ts
Learn the basics of professional and respectful field outreach, including how to approach residents, communicate effectively, handle difficult conversations, protect your safety, and properly document your work.
What to Expect in the Field
We'll walk through what a typical canvassing shift looks like, from check-in and receiving your assignment to completing your turf and reporting your results.
Opportunities to Get Involved
We'll also discuss upcoming paid canvassing and community engagement opportunities throughout Georgia, as well as ways to stay connected for future trainings and field opportunities.
